About Loz and Kate
Kate is a doctor-turned-photographer and Lorien is a journalist-turned-writer. Both are British, but Kate was born in Zambia and lived in Africa for many years, while Lorien lived in China for a decade. They have lived in Kuala Lumpur for seven years apiece (with a slight detour to Melbourne ) and brought up their children from tiny babies through to teenagers here. They have also entertained countless visitors from overseas and wished for many years that a book like KL for KIDS existed.
Of course, none of this great adventure of writing KL for KIDS would have been possible without their brilliant and ever-patient kids. Anna, Felix, Joe, Sam & Willo.
